The place
The COS Spała is a comprehensive training and accommodation complex, catering to Polish and foreign national teams of several dozen Olympic disciplines, and for beach volleyball enthusiasts alike. The center boasts rich, professional facilities for biological regeneration and rehabilitation.
The hall where we will train is the most modern beach volleyball hall in Poland. It accommodates 3 or 4 (depending on the layout) full-size beach volleyball courts. The hall is very high and warm, so there’s no need to wear thermal clothing. The temperature in the hall usually ranges from 23-26℃.
The center itself is surrounded by beautiful forests that once belonged to the Pilica Forest. Between training sessions, you can take a walk to the Spała Landscape Park, visit the Pilica open-air museum or the European bison breeding center, or even go mushroom picking in the autumn, if you like!
The plan
The training camp in Spała includes four professional sessions with experienced coaches. The final training times may change slightly depending on the number of participants. When participating in the camp, you must have available time for your stay in Spała from 2:30 PM on Friday to 2:00 PM on Sunday. Outside of the training hours, you will be able to use the courts.

How to get there?
The closest major airport is Warsaw – Chopin (WAW) operating many flights from all over Europe. Other one is Modlin (WMI). To get from Warsaw to Spala it’s best to use a car. We have many camp participants traveling from Warsaw. If you’re flying to Warsaw it’s best to arrange a lift with other participants – we can help you out. We create a participants FB group around 7 days before the camp, and people arrange shared transport there.
Accommodation and meals
We will be staying in one of the hotel at the COS Spała. Rooms are available as singles or doubles, and each room is equipped with a bathroom, refrigerator, TV, and Wi-Fi access. You can view photos of the rooms in the camp’s gallery.
For those arriving with children, we may be able to secure a triple room, but there are only a few available, so please let us know promptly. It is not possible to add extra beds.
You can bring your pet along for an additional fee of 30 PLN per day, but this will mean placement in a dormitory of a slightly lower standard, in accordance with COS Spała policies.
The offer includes full board, with meals served buffet style. The food is very healthy and varied, tailored to the needs of athletes. Complementing the dining options are cafés and a bar. Since all meals are served buffet style, those with special dietary requirements, such as vegans and vegetarians, will be able to choose dishes that suit their needs.
Training
You will train in groups of no more than six people, with the exception of groups of beginners, where there may be up to eight people. Each court will have one coach assigned. We work only with professional and experienced coaches. Your development is our priority. Since you are probably craving some beach volleyball action, we will make sure to mix exercises that improve technique with those that include game elements.
There is an option to purchase additional private training sessions for individuals, pairs, or the entire group. Given that the trainings scheduled during the camp will already be intensive, we suggest planning any additional sessions for Sunday afternoon. If you’re interested in additional training, please contact us directly, preferably in advance.
Who is the camp for?
Our camps attract a diverse crowd of individuals, teams, and full or partial training groups. If you’re on your own and hesitant to join the camp, don’t worry—we’ll match you with a roommate and a training group that suits your level (which you’ll specify when signing up for the camp). You also have the option of choosing a single room. The beach volleyball community is a cool, friendly, and open group of people, so if you come alone, you’re guaranteed to leave with many new friends and a squad for future camps!
Are you a complete beginner worried about not keeping up? Don’t be! We train people at all skill levels, and those who once came to their first camp without any skills now train in intermediate and advanced groups. Everyone has to start somewhere!
Our camps are designed for both adults and minors who will train under the supervision of adults. So far, we’ve had the pleasure of coaching individuals aged from 15 to 60 years old. We’re always happy to broaden this range, so if you’re worried that you might not fit in age-wise with the rest of the group, don’t be!
